Print output cut off - legal vs letter

Working on Mac OS X 10.7.5 with LibreOffice v 3.6.4.3

I have a Calc spreadsheet formatted for legal (8.5" x 14") size paper.

When printing (to a Konica Minolta bizhub C224) the printout is always cut off in a way that suggests the spreadsheet is being cropped for letter (8.5" x 11") size paper, though it prints onto legal size paper. i.e. there is data on no more than 11 vertical inches on the page, with the remaining 3" left blank, and any data/cells that would otherwise have printed on the page are absent.

The workaround is to output the spreadsheet to PDF and print from Acrobat, which works fine.

I’ve scoured the settings and preferences for this document, to no avail. The print preview always looks correct. The printer doesn’t seem to want to honour the page size that Calc would be specifying.

I’ve tried working with both the LibreOffice and system printer dialogs. There is an option in the system print dialog, under Paper Handling, to “Scale to fit paper size” where I can specify 8.5x14 but still the final image is cut off.

Any troubleshooting or other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try if can help modifying to PDF the Printer Language type in Menu/File/Printer settings/Properties/Device.
