When I press the Unanswered option in the green bar, some answered questions show up. Can this be fixed?
They show up in the "unanswered" list, because none of the given answers has been flagged as correct by either the person who did post the question or by a moderator/another person with sufficient karma to do it.
Thus the bottom line is: Make sure to use your votes, vote questions up and down to make the platform more relevant - and when having asked a question don't forget to flag a given answer as correct when it fully answers your question.

[Current status:
I'd like to point out that while I like manj_k's use of formatting, block quote, etc..., the chosen method of reply was an "Answer" rather than a "comment" on cloph's Answer. I think this is a perfect illustration of my concern about the 2nd-class feeling given to comments.
