import text from pdf

Is there a way to import the text from a PDF into Calc or Write? I want to import a pdf into a database. Unfortunately Draw only imports it as a picture (unless i am missing something).

Yes, that is what Draw is supposed to do :)
If you want the values from a table in a PDF page, the easiest way to do it is to select all text in your PDF reader and paste it in to Calc. It is the best way to guarantee that the data is properly clean and on the right columns.
