Erratic scrollbar behaviour in Calc

Using LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 on Mac OS 10.7.3. In Calc the scrollbars don't show the expected behaviour: the horizontal one just races to the right, no matter how much I try to drag its handle with the Magic Mouse towards the left; the vertical one doesn't do anything. A large spreadsheet becomes unmanageable that way. I've been observing this phenomenon for some time, certainly already in 3.4, on a Mac that, otherwise, behaves perfectly normally. It seems others have reported the same bug, and also in Writer. I'd be pleased if this got fixed finally!
