I am creating an app for users and packaging it so that it will run on the client machine. Currently the download is around 220MB. Is there a smaller runtime version of LireOffice that I can package with my app so that the download isnt so large. The client will not need to edit any of the files. There are just a bunch of forms and all data is stored in the database.
I can recommend Libreoffice as a Portable App from http://portableapps.com/de/apps/office/libreoffice_portable.
Currently they offer:
Libreoffice 3.5.4 for Windows, Multilingual
144MB download / 245-480MB install size
It's not exactly small, but it does fit on all current USB sticks.
