I found this article which explains how to have MS excel read anything from the internet. However, I cannot find a way to do this in Libre Calc. Is it possible and if so, how?

This might work for any file Calc can open, but how to read a specific value from a webpage ( For example the number of answers of this very page...?

Florian, that is because the feature in question (in both products) deals with HTML tables i.e., the <table> element. Where in this page (for example) is there a <table> element?
