Error loading basic document

Have tried to fix this but can not find path /users/tonycandler/Library/Application%20Support/LibreOffice/3/user/basic/dialog.xlc? Any ideas would be most welcome Tony

A) The path you have is a Mac path (may also be a *nix path), NOT a Windows path, so if you're on a Windows machine that path won't do you any good.

B) %20 is code for an empty space " ", so you're looking for "Application Support" NOT "Application%20Support".

C) When I had a persistent and unexplainable error, I:

closed LibreOffice
verified there were no running processes via Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app
added a backup extension to my /users/MacShortUserName/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/3/user/ folder (i.e. "user" --> "user.bac")
opened LibreOffice with no more unexplainable error messages
enjoyed my beverage of choice
