Have the LibreOffice team considered splitting LO into several Android apps?

Good morning. I have read recently about your having troubles with huge .apk size. So I wondered, whether the LibreOffice team ever considered, for the sake of Android app, splitting the whole suite into several per-format applications, like in old days, when there was, for instance, SomeRedmondCompany Word 6.0 and SomeRedmondCompany Excel, and they could be purchased as separate product.
To be more explicit, in my user experience, I have regular need in mobile .ods editing, and, perhaps, occational .odt, but have never considered even viewing any .odp on my Android device. And when last night I tried installing a nightly build, found that 150+ MB of internal storage are not sufficient to run the installer, which, by mishap, contains the whole suite.
Well, I’m pretty aware that they are mostly the same Open Document Format, and different components of LO are tightly integrated in terms of source code, but — has the LibreOffice team ever considered?..

It has probably been considered, as the developers are quite familiar with the source code. There is however a lot of shared code in the LO product bundle. To what degree the proposal of “splitting the whole suite into several per-format[1] applications” is feasible would require a developer to comment on. Current APKs are available here.

EDIT: The answer here contains updates about the status of LO on Android.
