How to import a template into LibreOffice 4.0? And why (eg. Png)?

Hi everyone. I have a problem to import template models presentations on LibreOffice 4.0 software. I’m in the “page” to import, I have chosen the file where I want to import my models but even if the file is filled with model (in. Odp) gives me the file is as empty. Please do that?

To be clear: Do you have a graphic (PNG) that you want to place in a slide of your presentation (ODP)? Or do you have a presentation (ODP/PPT) that you want to open with Impress? I am not quite clear about what you are trying to do. It sounds like your model (a PNG graphic?) does not display (it is blank) when you insert it into your presentation.

@Frilou45“I have chosen the file where I want to import my models but even if the file is filled with model (in. Odp) gives me the file is as empty.”

BTW: Presentation templates are .otp files – presentations (.odp files) are not shown in “Template Manager → Import”). If you really have tried to import a .odp file, you should at first save it as a template (menu File → Save As Template...).

(Maybe a misunderstanding …)

If you have existing templates in a location (directory), you can add this location to the template path and your templates will automatically show up. This thread shows how to do this. Alternatively, you can move your template file to the default LO template location, which is the template/ directory in your User Profile. Information on managing templates can also be found on this help page.

You did not understand what I meant. I wanted to know how do we import presentation templates. To help you I do screenshots. In fact I’m French.![image description](http://image description) image description

My undestanding of your question is: You have a template which you would like to import into LibreOffice Impress and use on your slides.

@Frilou45 thanks for clarifying that your question is about templates and the template manager. I will try and provide an answer.
