Document generator using LibreOffice

First, I am a newbie and not well versed in programming. Second, if there are simple tutorials or how-to’s I can follow, that’s great too.
so here’s what Im trying to do:

  1. I am trying to automatically create a document/presentation on a daily basis that mainly has images in it.
  2. I know that the Libre has the ability through the use of xml to perform this function manually, but is there a way to do it automatically.
  3. I want to load files to a folder, add the xml/libre document and the images to be loaded, so so that can be collated and reviewed together.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction. I would appreciate it.

This sounds as perfectly possible. I’m afraid, however, that you might need programming skills to develop a solution.
