LibreOffice 4 don't use template when loading text file

Hi all.

At first sorry for my very bad english (my native language is russian).
I have a question about LibreOffice 4 Writer.
I have created template with page margins 0.6 sm (2.0sm used by default), saved it as “my_tempalte_0d6_margins.ott” and set it to default template.
When I’m creating new document it’s all ok - page margins are 0.6 sm. But when i’m trying to load
document from text file (menu File->Open…), Writer do not use my default template at some reason.
So after loading page margins are still 2.0 sm…
How can to resolve this problem ?
Thanks in advance.

Which OS and LibO version are you using?
Could you possibly explain in details (step by step) what you did and what was the result of each step?

I’m using OS Windows 7 SP1 64 bits, LibreOffice version is 4.1.1.2. Ok, I will try to explain problem.
I’m creating new document, changing page settings by menu “page…” setting page margins to 0.6sm. Then i’m saving that document as template and setting it to default (so when i’m creating new document it has page margins 0.6sm, It’s ok at that point)
But when i’m trying to open simple text file (menu "File->Open->*.txt) my document takes page margins to 2.0sm instead 0.6sm that i set earlier. So LibO Writer has not used my template when was loading text file.
What’s reason of it ?
Thanks in advance.

Opening a file opens it always with the template (=formats) used to create this file. This is necessary because otherwise all formats created before get lost. Therefore you need to load the style from the template you want to use.
F11 > page styles > top right corner roll down menu > load style . select your default template.
