Calc: Add Entry to Range

Hi guys
I have a Name Range defined.
Is there anyway for me to add new entries in rows directly to the range if it is directly below the range or do i have to define it each time?

My question relates to the fact that I use a spreadsheet to maintain records in which new data might be added to the Range which i then use to Validate a cell using the Cell Range function in the Validity module to ensure repeatability and no spelling mistakes and the likes.

There is an option if you insert a row just below the range:

Menu/Tools/Options/LIbreOffice calc/General - Expand references when new columns/rows are inserted.

If you don’t want insert the row, you can do it with [Ctrl]+[+] or Menu/Insert/Cells, selecting ‘Shifts cells down’
