Different Header and Footer per sheet in Calc

Hi,

I am using Calc of Libreoffice 4.1.4.
I know Calc can design customize header and footer by edit tag.
but all sheets in a file will all the same header and footer.

I want each sheet has its owned header and footer.
but I don’t know how to do that or is it possible do that?

please give me a hand.
thank you all so much!

Headers and footers are predefined pieces of text that are printed at the top or bottom of a sheet outside of the sheet area. Headers are set the same way as footers. You can choose to have different content on left and right pages of the same page style. Headers and footers are assigned to a page style. You can define more than one page style for a spreadsheet and assign different page styles to different sheets.

Menu Format | Styles and Formatting | Page Styles tab - define style (right click on empty space and New or click on existing page style and click on Modify). When done double click newly created page style to apply style to current sheet. Click on second sheet (bottom tab) and repeat the task (create new style and double click on it to apply it to current sheet).

Thank you so much!
It works!

Thanks! This was driving me nuts on a sheet that I copied. I couldn’t figure out how to change the header without changing the old sheet also. Version 5 has an extra selection sequence: Menu: Format | Styles | Styles and Formatting | Page Styles tab

Can you split your sheets and create new workbooks?

Hi,
sorry, what do you mean “workbooks”?
does it mean another .ods file ?

For users with experience using Microsoft Excel: what Excel calls a workbook, Calc
calls a spreadsheet (the whole document).
