Looks like December 2013 was a correction to November 2013. The trend is now back to a more expected growth pattern. Will be interesting to see what 2014 brings.
As far as I can see, since November 2013 the users of AskLibO pt-br are also counted in the now united list of registered users (formerly a separate list). Therefore the unexpected fluctuations.
