i have libre office 4.1 and it keeps crashing when i open it up with a document plus a powerpoint. i have tried looking it up online but i couldn’t find this recovery.xcu file that everyone was speaking of. if anyone can help me i’d greatly appreciate it. NEED HELP ASAP!

@mariosv: I have the same problem (suddenly happened today). Resetting profile doesnt help. Surprisingly, it is happening with only one file (.odt format). For a temporary solution I copied the contents of that file to another file (an existing docx file) and writer is not crashing now. Writer is also behaving fine with another .odt file. Can’t understand this problem. I have latest version on a fedora20 machine.
Try with the navigator [F5] if there is any strange stuff.
