Hi, I would like to use the Report Builder extension. I am following the instructions from http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Report_Builder. The instructions say to get the extension from http://extensions.libreoffice.org, but I can't find it searching that site. Is it somewhere else or am I missing it?

Problem solved by Björn with a ppa containing the fix. See steps to take at: "https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/992232"

I'm having the same problem. I found a bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/992232 for it. If I understand correctly, prioritization of defect fixes involves the number of users affected, so if this is important to you, you might want to go to the bug report at this link and click on "this bug affects me". There are only 5 affected users reported, so it's probably at the bottom of the stack.

The Base Report Builder 1.2.1 is delivered as part of the install (for Windows). To see if you have it installed go to Tools - Extension Manager and scroll down.

I'm wondering regarding to Ubuntu 12.04. There is a package openoffice.org-report-builder which didn't appear to work even though the description for the package says "LibreOffice extension for building database reports". The extension isn't visible in the extension manager after installing.

@raema, I see report-builder as an extension present by default in LibreOffice 3.5.4. I downloaded the .deb direct from the LibreOffice site. I don't know if it works or not.
