How to disable hyperlinks in Writer

Hi,
using LibreOffice 4.1.4.2 on Windows XP sp3. In Writer when I type some URL address like e.g. http://www.google.com or some local address like C:\Windows those links gets underlined with blue color - they actually becomes hyperlinks. I don’t like this. So I have to manually select the URL text and right click on it and selecting Remove Hyperlink. This is a bit annoying. Is there a way to permanently set that all URL texts should not automatically changed into hyperlink, so I would spare this “remove hyperlink” manual tasks?
Thanks

Tools > AutoCorrect Options… > Options tab > uncheck the “URL Recognition” options. You can also remove hyperlinks from an entire text by:

  • Select all (CTRL+A).
  • Right-click on highlight > Remove hyperlink

Thanks a lot. It works.
