How do you remove preset page breaks for printing?

I want to print a document that has page breaks that I wish to move. I enter the manual breaks and they are ignored. How can I move and set the page breaks? I need to remove the preset breaks.

Thank you in advance for your help.

OP: @RichardLindgren

I have done this but it still breaks the page at the automatic page breaks and ignores my manual ones.

Mine are in blue color and the automatic ones are in gray.

Do I need to change a setting or something?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Richard, could you possibly attach the file so we can have a look at it and maybe understand your problem better? Be careful about the contents of your file; this is a public forum.

You don’t need to remove the automated page breaks, they are needed and adjust themselves.

You only need to add your page breaks.

For this you insert the cursor at the position where you want to have the page break and do:
Insert > Manual break > page break
or
ctrl+ENTER

If above doesn’t help, then please explain in details what you do to insert manual page breaks to enable help.

The only way I can make this work is to use the option to manually set the page scale and then apply the manual page breaks. I can also move the breaks this way. The other options for the page do not allow this.

Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong with the “Fit Print Range to Page Width or Height”?

Thank you in Advance for your help.
