If I copy and paste from an outside source, as in a .pdf file, it changes my page format. In particular it re-sizes my margins. If I copy and paste from another .odt file, the formatting remains unchanged. In pre 3.5 this never happenned. I could paste unformatted, but I want to keep the paragraph formatting. Please fix.

When using the "Paste Special" command, what are the available choices? Also, what application created the PDF file? If the PDF originated from LibreOffice and the copied content is recognized as ODT, then maybe the formatting information of the PDF's page is retained, whereas that would not be the case with RTF or HTML. If you must retain the paragraph formatting of the copied content, copying it as RTF should not bring over any page formatting information and should only provide paragraph and character formatting without semantic style information. The paragraph could then be styled so that it is consistent with the rest of the document. Or am I missing something?

I am talking about using the paste, not the paste special. before 3.5, I could copy and paste( usually be the mouse right click and the menu, and the from ANY other document without any problems. Now, it messes up the page format. The point is, it didn't do this before, no matter the format

Well, then it's definitely an issue. What OS are you on? I wonder if it could have any impact.
