Page Up and Page Down commands

Hi, I’d like these commands to shift an entire page - if a user is using a Single Page (entire page) view - it seems reasonable that pressing Page Up would display the entire next page. Instead the cursor shifts to the start of the next page - resulting in half of the previous page and half of the next page displaying. This is annoying!

There doesn’t seem to be a Customise command in Tools to fix this.

From Search of forums - other users are seeking this solution also.

Thanks for considering!

I agree. While paging is affected by the zoom factor, there appears to be a by-design decision to maintain cursor position near the middle of the window. On opening a Writer file in book view layout the cursor is here:

cursor position on open

On page-down the cursor position is moved to the head of the next right-hand page, but the viewing position for the page is also moved (partially) down:

cursor position on page-down

This position is then maintained for further paging. It is far more desirable that a whole page (spread) view is shown.
