Hello Guys,
In my company I am having a seemingly simple problem with OpenOffice Writer, but until now we could not solve and would like help.
A user wants OpenOffice Writer enumerate "sheets", not pages. For example, if a two-sided printing are four pages, we'll have two sheets. He want the first sheet (page 1) appears the number "1", and the second sheet (it would be page 3) appears the number "2", as the numbering of the leaves, not pages.
That is basically what we want is that OpenOffice Writer count and number only the odd pages only. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you.

One possible option is to use a two-column layout. You double the page size: if your original page size is A4 you set the page size to A3. The set the page for two columns.
It's just a workaround.

The problem is that you are counting sheets rather than pages, so no page number field will work. Counting sheets is printing-process-specific, depending upon how (2-up, 4-up, etc.) the printing is being done, so no field is likely to be effective.
