Menu toolbar text style is yellow and unreadable

I have attached an image of LibreOffice 4.2 (fully up-to-date and a fresh install) which shows that the menu toolbar’s text style is yellow making it unreadable. This occurs throughout the use of all LibreOffice applications.

I am running Windows 8.1 Professional x64, fresh install and fully up-to-date.
My language is US - English.
I have the latest JRE installed.
I do not have any anti-virus installed at this time.
My nVidia graphics drivers are up-to-date with the latest version.
My drivers are fully up-to-date.

Any ideas what the problem could be? Is it a bug or is there a setting that LibreOffice has that I must have changed that resulted this odd behavior? Your help is much appreciated!

EDIT: Here is a screenshot of just the toolbar as requested.

Would it possible to show a screenshot displaying only the toolbars?

Usually the menu font is determined by the operating system. Please try whether you get another color, if you use another desktop theme.

Or do you have selected a theme in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Personalization ?

@ROSt53, I have uploaded the requested screenshot for you to view.

@Regina, the default theme is selected under Personalization. I don’t think Windows 8.1 has any other themes - other than adjusting the color of the taskbar and whatnot.

What happens when you use a different icon set?
