Sorry, I don't understand the question - just go to docs.google.com and then use the upload function.

Maybe OP is confusing LO with ODF? (e.g. "how do I work with ODF files using google docs?)

There's an extension which provides some level of OO/LO integration with GoogleDocs:

http://code.google.com/p/ooo2gd/

It means you can work offline with GoogleDocs, and you have control over how the file formats are handled (converted or not).
