Is this a bug? IMO, we should take this as a bug.

By the way, AOO 3.4 seems to have the same issue.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51213

I observe that the width of renndered text under Ubuntu's Writer is wider than Windows's.

Expected: For the same file, rendered text under Ubuntu and Windows should be the same.

What is not tested: - Width of text when opened with MSO 2003, MSO 2007 - Width of text when opened with other versions of LibreOffice:

Attached - The file to reproduce the issue (.doc file) - A screenshot of the .doc file when opened with MSO 2010 on Windows 7 - A screenshot of the .doc file when opened with LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 - A screenshot of the .doc file when opened with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 on Windows 7

Do you verify if Calibri font is installed in Ubuntu?. I am not sure but I think Calibri isn't a free font.

If this issue is solved, the answer should be closed (simply by accepting manj_k's correct answer).
