After I have downloaded the first step of the I get the following error message
Please exit LibreOffice 3.5 and LibreOffice 3.5 quick start before continuing. If you are using a multi-user system, ensure no other user has open LibreOffice3.5
On the machine I am downloading Libre to is running Windows XP. I have never had any Libre version on this machine. But I do have OpenOffice installed.
I am not sure what I must do in order to get Libre to properly download. Please Help!!
Maybe similar to → LibreOffice 3.5.2 installation aborts...
If you have OpenOffice installed, make sure it isn't running (neither the main application soffice nor the quickstarter). AFAIK the LibreOffice installer doesn't know if a running soffice instance belongs to OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
