I've created a program using base. Users enter data into an .odt file. I have a button that opens another form, so the user can add data to the database, but when they return to the prior document, they have to refresh the database in order to see the newly entered data in a dropdown list. My users are elderly, so I need this process to be super easy.
What I've done, is added a button to the second form - "Return to___" naming the form they started from. This activates the document, but I still need a way for the refresh to happen automatically. I either need the first form to close when the second one opens, so the data is available when the "return to____" is clicked, or, when the first form is activated, it needs to automatically refresh via a macro or something.
Any thoughts? I would really appreciate your assistance.
Thank you,
Beth
