You should probably change the question title to reflect that this is a Mac platform-specific question. The log file(s) for this platform can be found here:
/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/3/user/extensions/shared/log.txt
/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/3/user/uno_packages/cache/log.txt
