When I tried to edit a doc someone had sent me the cursor went one or more spaces ahead of where I wanted to place it. In my scrambling to solve the problem, somehow now all of the new docs I create have the same problem, which makes writing and editing impossible, because you can never tell where you are adding or subtracting letters or spaces
Please edit your question to indicate O/S version, LO version, and an example context of use e.g., editing text box content in Writer. There is currently a known issue of this type under MacOS. Thanks.
I’ve noticed the same cursor alignment problem with LO 4.2.6.3 running on OS X 10.9.5. I found that by using one of the LO installed fonts (e.g. Liberation Serif) instead of a Mac font (e.g. Times NR) solved the problem, so far.
please reopen, I see it with 5.3.5.2 and Fedora 26 linux so answer no worth for me
