How can I start outline numbering at zero?

I’m sure that earlier versions of Libre/Open Office let me set the “start numbering from” dialog in Tools>Outline Numbering at less than 1.

Being slightly nerdy I quite like my documents to start with a general introduction as Section 0, so that the numbering sequence of subsequent sections is in sync with the argument, Section 1 being for the first substantive point.

Works as expected here under GNU/Linux using v4.3. Tools > Outline Numbering… > Numbering tab > select Level of “1-10” > set Start at to “0”:

May be a problem with your particular version or the Ubuntu-provided one.

@oweng - just saw that we answered the same time. As @ejoftheweb uses and Xubuntu I expect that your screenshots are better. If so, please delete my answer. I am using XP.
