No, there is no builtin way to do so. Maybe someone writes an extension in future.
While you could indert a floating frame and have the content be a twitter feed, LibreOffice's HTML-rendering isn't on-par with current browsers.
In the meantime, you can add try to (not sure whether it is possible, not using windows) your browser as OLE-Object, i.e. embed a your browser into the presentation.
