Page Format Question

I set my page to 6 x 9 inches, and the margins to 1 inch on all sides.

Yet, when I zoom to 100% and also export to PDF, it appears about 7 x 10.5"

That being said, Adobe Acrobat says the document is in fact 6x9.

Then, I send the file to a printer, and I receive my book which is 7 x 10.5

Does anyone have any clue what might be happening?

Did you check the print dialogue for ‘Scaling’ or another feature to this effect?

Does the print dialogue show exactly the same paper format you assumed when defining the page format?

Is this the paper format the used tray is actally containing?
