When I attempt to open a Libre document, I get an error message saying 'The requested operations requires elevation'. I have completely uninstalled Libre and re installed it with the same results. I am logged in as the Administrator but it still needs to be elevated.

My system is Windows 7 Pro.

Usually, you don't need to be logged in as Admin - just right-click on the shortcut and select "run as administrator". I think this is more secure than doing everything as admin.

Why would LibreOffice require running as an Administrator anyway? Surely there's something wrong with the installation or configuration if that's happening every time.

That's rather a Windows question.

Maybe helpful:
"The requested operation requires elevation"
(answers.microsoft.com).
