Is there a way to evaluate a function in Calc?

I am trying to identify problems in nested functions and currently talking the spreadsheet to Excel to evaluate (step into debug) my daisy chained formula’s.

I would really like to know if there is something in available in Calc comparable to this function in Excel or if I need to submit a feature request.

You can try:

  • hit F9 while selecting a portion of your formula in the formula editor
  • use the excellent so-called “function wizard” which is available by pressing one of the buttons located at the left of the formula editor.
