you guys/gals should add the "alt +" and "alt -" key combinations to calc and writer to zoom in and out like one can in firefox.

You can use Ctrl+Mousewheel to zoom.

  • Most software, e.g. Firefox, actually uses Ctrl++/Ctrl+-
  • LibreOffice can't use Ctrl++/Ctrl+-, because these are already taken in Calc which is a fairly important application
  • Alt++/Alt+- is quite a good idea, though, as it avoids the already taken Ctrl combos.
