I have a doc with a odt extension. A little icon looking like a marine type “anchor” which I can’t get rid of or can I write over the document or manipulate the written word. Any suggestions please.
Why? The anchor should show up as long as an anchored object (image, frame, formula , …) is selected. Its purpose is to visualise where the object is anchored and what kind of anchoring is chosen. An object anchored “as character” will not show the anchor icon. The anchor will never be printed.
