First time here? Check out the FAQ!
When I try to open LibreOffice I always get the message
Die Anwendung kann nicht gestartet werden.
First sentence means "The application could not have been started."
The strange thing is: It is the portable version of Libreoffice, and when I try to start the very same program from another Windows-Installation on the same PC it opens fine.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
regards
Stefan
This is a bug which doesn't seem to be reported yet. Please use https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ to file a bug.
Have a look at → can't start libreoffice3.5 portable on xp sp3.
it can be also downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/libreoffice.mirror/files/LibreOffice%203.5.5/
But 3.6.0 rc2 or linux languagepacks are not on sourceforge.net.
The program cannot be started. The service manager is not available. ("InvalidRegistryExeption: file:///C:Program%20files%20(x86)/LibreOffice%203.6/program/,,/share/extentions/ pdfimport/components.rdb: duplicate <implementationname+"com.sun.star.comp.documents.hybridpdfimport">")
Start setup application to repair the installation from cd or the folder containg the installation packages.
Tried installation repair but to no avail.
