Dictionairies don't work in Calc

LibO 4.3.4.1 on XP

GUI is English (US). My default language is English (US) additional languages and dictionaries are installed for German, Japanese and Dutch. Opening Tools > Manage extensions show that the dictionaries are installed.

In Writer dictionaries. language selections work perfectly fine.

In Calc I the get red wavy lines beneath misspelled English words. When I right click on these words the context menu does not show any correct version(s) in a file created originally in a maybe 4.0 or version of LibO.
In a file created in v 4.3.4.1 right clicking on the misspelled word shows potentially correct words in English, but not in German or Dutch.

In non of the files I can set the language to English, Japanese, German or Dutch. Opening Tools > Languages shows me only a selection between Hangul/Hanja conversion (=Korean) and Chinese conversion. Non of these languages is installed.

Do I miss a setting or do we have a bug?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I did’nt find a bug related to your question. But I also have some weird behavior in Calc. The red wiggly line do NOT appear even with misspelled words. If I run a full spellcheck then they show up. May be there is a bug in there.

EDIT: Works fine with a virgin user profile.

@horst - Thanks. I solved a part of the problem and shorted start-up time of LibO all lot. Nice side effect.
What remains is that I 1.) cannot select any other language the way I can do in Writer and 2.) still get the selection between Hangul/Hanja conversion (=Korean) and Chinese conversion with non of these languages installed. — Is this one now a bug???
