Hi, I have a xlsx spreadsheet of about 162 MB. Trying to open it with LibreOffice Calc crashes, so I opened it with Office 2010 with no problems, then I exported the spreadsheet to CSV and ODS.

When importing the CSV (280 MB), the import fails to parse the columns correctly, because of Excell lack of CSV export parameters configuration, but the funny thing is that trying to load the ODS (162 MB) file, crashed LibreOffice Calc also.

This is happenning in Windows XP 32 and also Ubuntu/Linux x64! both with LO 3.5.5!

Is this a bug?

You need to report a bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=LibreOffice with detailed description, problem file and screenshots (if available).

Try exporting a simple sheet from office to see if Libre can open it and its not an office problem in exporting.
