Hi,
I received a word document that is used as a template to fill in some fields. However in Libreoffice I'm not able to edit the document. I tried to attach the document to this request, but it failed. I can e-mail the document on request. I'm using Libreoffice 3.4.2 build 1206 on a SuSE 12.1 64 BIT Linux system.

Did you save the document from your email on your local system first? When I open an email attachment directly, I have problems editing it. Try saving it to your home directory, and then try opening it. I run the same version of LO on Opensuse 11.4 64bit.
