Change the default for File Open Viewmenu

File/Open usually gives a viewmenu file listing in 'List' mode. How can one change this mode to default to say 'Details'? (As one can with Win Explorer via Folder Options\View)

By default, LO opens the default window manager on the OS.
You can change the views from it's settings or you can use the LO dialog window by clicking Tools>Options>LibreOffice>General>check Use LibreOffice dialogs under Open/Save
