Are there plans for a "papercut" project for libreoffice

There are numerous UI or general annoyances in libreoffice for which a fix would probably not be that hard, but the developers are most likely not aware of it in the first place. Are there any plans for a "papercuts"-type initiative for libreoffice in the style canonical launched?

Or a more user friendly way to report bugs/annoyances then bugtraq?

For example: when trying to copy from another calc document, the "paste special" only shows up in the menu box when first selecting the exact same amount of rows.

putting a link to papercuts would help understanding what it is about without having to do a google search :-)

so https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut for general info what "papercut" is about in this context

like the bug submission agent?

The EasyHacks program is exactly that -- although it is not limited to UI issues. The important part is that an experienced developer has indeed checked the bug to be simple to solve. Users are very often misjudging the effort and as EasyHacks are intended to get new developers on the project, we do not want them have a tough time with their first task. Here is a list of EasyHack that are UI related and ripe for picking.

For people who want to get involved we have https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Easy_Hacks with task that a new starter can solve. However, these should be proposed by an existing experienced developer as what might seem simple to the layman does not have to be and we dont want to drive the new contributor mad ;)

I think that would be magnificent, and the model should be applied to more projects. I think Gnome might be doing something similar, too
