sort table of contents

I have a document with a table of contents and two indexes. The table of contents entries are taken from a small selection of (header n) styles. I have made the two indexes based on styles. With both the indexes I must allow editing and sort them into alphabetical order after I create them. I wish there was a sort button on table of contents. A normal “index” does sort alphabetically but can’t pull entries from styles.

Is there any way to create indexes from styles and sort them in a automated way?

@jorendc – Know if it’s possible to create indicies from styles and then sort them like this?

@kimh – Still looking for an answer to your question?

Yes. Still looking.
