Is there a way to have a program to launch calc instead of Excel on a windows 7 pc. We have a program SX.enterprise that can export data directly into Excel but doesn't work if Libre Office is installed instead of Excel.
Developers of SX.enterprise have to rewrite export data function according to LibreOffice/Apache OpenOffice rules to get export directly to Calc. If it is impossible, then you have to install MS Office package. You may open such files in LibO/AOO, but direct export function would not work.
Because the program surely use Excel libraries to generate the file. But you can have both programs installed without any problem.
LibreOffice is made available by volunteers around the globe, backed by a charitable Foundation. Please support our efforts: Your donation helps us to deliver a better product!
