I have a number of files which I would like to use in a spreadsheet. Is it possible to insert all of them at once as separate sheets? The command Insert / Sheet From File appears only to allow me to insert one at a time.

Thanks for your response, mario. I see that the link option would allow me to modify my spreadsheet if the data in the source files changed, but I'd want to be able to point to a new set of source files on a daily basis.

The files I'd like to refer to are .txt files.

Hi @chris_282,

Take a look at the answer to this question. The macro code is designed to create one spreadsheet from multiple CSV files, but it could be tweaked to work with other file formats:

Yes but if you mark the link option, only once you need to do it, then you can update the links in Menu/edit/links, selecting all link and update.

What type of file are the linked files?
