How can I number the pages without the first page?

I need to cut off the numbering from the first page. How can I do this?

Unless I’ve missed something, Page numbers do not appear on each page unless you place them there. So, the answer is:- do not put the field to show a page number on to the first page.

It is possible to restart numbering but look:- we do not live in your head. Please be more explanatory.
