Has anyone tried to save a file locked in Dropbox and had LibreOffice just abort?

In attempting to save a file, a word document, that apparently got marked as "locked" by dropbox, Libre office would not even let me do a save as under another name. Libre Office simply disappeared when I asked it to save as or save. I tried to save as to my desktop away from the dropbox directory. I rebooted my computer, running Ubuntu 11.10 and under MINT 13 I think.

I was able to load the file on Windows 7 from dropbox and save in a new name.
