I have three separate Word documents that I've brought over into LibreOffice. Using Word's functionality, I used to be able to pull Styles from one document into the other, meaning that once I formatted one document the way I wanted, I could directly apply those styles to the other two.

Now that the documents are in ODT and I am using LibreOffice, I am once again mucking about in the Styles for one of the documents, to improve upon them. Once I am done, is there an easy way to export / apply them to the other two documents? Could this be done directly with the styles themselves, or by way of a template?

Thank you for your help!

To specify, I have access to LO 3.5 on the Mac, and 3.6 on Windows. (I prefer Mac, but I have Windows around just in case...)

If Alexander's solution solves the issue (i'm sure it does), you should mark it as correct, to this thread doesn't still appear as open.

Thank you, I didn't see an email notice - marked as done!

It's possible to import them directly or using a template.

Simply open the Formatting and styles window and choose 'Load Styles...', accessible via the button on the right.

Or you could save a document as template and apply the styles it contains with this extension: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/template-changer
