It appears that the response to 'Page-Down' can seem inconsistent.

Create a document of several lines (which may be blank) followed by a new page. With the cursor anywhere on the first page, but the display at the default position for top-of file, a Page-Down moves the display but not the cursor. If the display is scrolled down a line, then Page-Down moves cursor and display.

Even more bizarrely, this appears to be dependent on the zoom level of the display. At 95% zoom, cursor and display always seem to move.

Hi @Pansmanser, It looks like the latest info on this question had you running LO 3.6.0.2, which was not the final for 3.6.0. Could you please update your software to the latest 3.6 release and then let us know if you're still experiencing this issue?

Hi @Pansmanser,

This sounds like weird behavior!

  1. Please grab a new build and see if the problem remains.
  2. If you're still having an issue, please file a bug about this problem, and provide a list of steps that can reproduce it. The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format "fdo#123456".

Thanks!

Which version ? Which operating system ? Works for me as expected with LO 3.6.1 under Ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-shell.

Best regards. JBF

Works perfectly with same LO version and Win 7, too.

OK. I am receiving e-mails pressing me for a 'best answer' to this question, but I haven't had an answer, except to correct an error in my post. That doesn't reach my definition of best. Cannot select a best answer. Thanks for thinking about it anyway.

Oops! The version is 3.6.0.2 Any thoughts why I might be seeing this behaviour? Does the zoom-dependence suggest it might be related to the screen size?

Not easy to answer. What is certain for me is that the final version 3.6.0 is the RC4 then 3.6.0.4, not 3.6.0.2.

3.6.2 really ? This version has not yet been released. Did you build it yourself or is it a daily build ? You should ask on dev irc channel.

I think user have version 3.6.0 RC2 > "Oops! The version is 3.6.0.2..."
