Windows 7 home premium 32bit on AMD &3Gb RAM Just installed LO 3.6.1.2 and ALWAYS get a crash just pointing at a .ODF file. Cannot delete as crash is too quick! Explorer restarts ok. Had 3.5 before with no problems. Not good for LO! Terry
UPDATE Removed 3.6 & reinstalled 3.5, problem gone. What does 3.6 do?
Known problem in 3.6.1, many times discussed. See http://ask.libreoffice.org/question/5713/another-nasty-feature-unable-to-open-odf-file-from/ and http://ask.libreoffice.org/question/5934/opening-odt-shuts-down-explorer/ Try to do custom install and do not select Windows Explorer extension.
Update to LO 3.6.2. problem is solved there.
