I have some old powerpoint presentation (version 3.0)
Office do not open them anymore…
Aparently, Libreoffice neither…
(when importing, the file is considered as an spreadsheet 
)
any clue ?

Your problem sounds a lot like this one:
If installing the latest release doesn’t seem to fix your file-import problem, please file a bug and provide a list of steps that can reproduce your problem. Please include a copy of one or more of the Powerpoint presentation files that LO can’t open properly.
The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!
